letzte Woche hatten wir unser erstes Orga-Meeting seit langem. Ein Dutzend Leute hatten sich versammelt (plus Online-Teilnehmer aus dem Brandenburger Umland), und wir versuchten uns konsequent zweisprachig durch die Agenda zu hangeln. Dabei stellte sich am Ende heraus: die Agenda eines zweisprachigen Meetings muss kürzer ausfallen, weil es durch die Übersetzung doppelt so lange dauert … Deshalb sind die letzten Punkte sehr knapp abgehandelt wurden.

Die Agenda war:

3. die bestehende Orga-struktur wird diskutiert
4. Wer macht für weitere sechs Monate weiter, wer was anderes, und wer kommt neu dazu?

Hier kurz die Ergebnisse:

1. Vorbereitung seit Oktober 19, Eröffnung Dezember 19, bis Lockdown im März von 1-3 Versammlungen pro Woche genutzt. Dann Zwangspause bis Mitte Mai, seitdem das Build-Team DPW wieder aktiv. Seit Mitte Juni einzelne offizielle und inoffizielle Veranstaltungen, vor allem draußen wegen der noch geltenden Corona-Regeln. Planungsmeetings derzeit eher (noch) nicht, weil die ganzen zu planenden Events dieses Jahr ausfallen.
2. Es gab im Haus durch Aktivitäten und interne Veranstaltungen einige Konflikte mit der Nachbarschaft. Geräusche draußen nach 22 Uhr (vor allem aus Boxen), aber auch alles was Bereiche nach Party aussehen läßt ist ein Problem, und einiges wurde auf uns zurückgeführt bzw. passierte in unserem Umfeld. Mein persönlicher Maßstab für die Zukunft ist: wir machen solche Veranstaltungen, zu denen Familien aus der Nachbarschaft ihre Kinder mit hinbringen würden. Alles andere muß intern und ggf. mit der Genossenschaft Zusammenkunft, die die Pioniernutzungen organisiert, diskutiert werden. 3. Die Orga-Struktur als solche scheint nach wie vor sinnvoll. Aber unsere Kommunikationsplattform talk.berlinburner.de auf der Basis von Loomio ist für die Team-interne Kommunikation zu langsam und unübersichtlich. Wir haben jetzt angefangen, für die interne Kommunikation der Teams jeweils Telegram-Gruppen zu etablieren, und alle Mitglieder der Teams sollte dort aufgenommen werden. Die Talk-Plattform wird aktualisiert (wie das KiezBurn schon getan hat, derzeit in Arbeit), damit sie etwas besser benutzbar ist, und dient vor allem der mittel- und langfristigen Diskussion. Auch der ausgefallene Visions-Workshop soll noch unbedingt nachgeholt werden.
4. Wir haben unter den Anwesenden und uns bekannten Namen geschaut, wer was (neu) machen will, für die nächsten sechs Monate. Die Leute, die nicht da waren, werden angefragt, ob sie weitermachen wollen, oder keine Zeit mehr haben. Unser Organigramm wird dann entsprechend aktualisiert. Die neuen oder weiter bestätigten Namen sind:

6. Zu viel mehr sind wir kaum gekommen. Es gibt die Idee, Ende August das HdS mit einem „Burn-Out“ zu bespielen, wo verschiedene Camps teilnehmen. MokKa und Carsten diskutieren Details mit der Genossenschaft Zusammenkunft.

last week we had our first organizing meeting in a long time. A dozen people had gathered (plus online participants from the Brandenburg area), and we tried to work our way through the agenda bilingually. In the end we found out: the agenda of a bilingual meeting has to be shorter, because the translation makes it take twice as long … That’s why the last points were dealt with very briefly.

The agenda was:

1. Looking back
2. Communication netiquette and location rules
3. Discussing the existing embassy organisational structure
4. Who continues in their role for six more month, who is changing, who will join?
5. Shall we plan again frequent general meetings?
6. Other stuff

Here are the results:

1. Preparation since October 19, opening December 19, until lockdown in March used by 1-3 meetings per week. Then forced break until mid-May, since then the build team DPW is active again. Since mid-June individual official and unofficial meetings, mainly outside because of the still valid Corona rules. Planning meetings at the moment rather not (yet), because all the events to be planned are cancelled this year.
2. There have been some conflicts with the neighbourhood due to activities and internal events in the house. Noise outside after 10 pm (especially from sound systems), but also everything that makes areas look like a party is a problem, and some things were attributed to us or happened in our surroundings. My personal benchmark for the future is: we do such events where families from the neighbourhood would bring their children to. Everything else has to be discussed internally and, if necessary, with the Genossenschaft Zusammenkunft that organizes the pioneer uses. 3. The Orga structure as such still seems to make sense. But our communication platform talk.berlinburner.de based on Loomio is too slow and confusing for team-internal communication. We have now started to establish telegram groups for the internal communication of the teams, and all team members should be included there. The Talk platform will be updated (as the KiezBurn has already done, currently in progress) to make it a bit more usable, and will mainly be used for medium- and long-term discussion. Also the postponed Visions-Workshop should definitely happen soon.
4. We looked among the attendees and names known to us to see who wants to do what (new) for the next six months. The people who were not there will be asked if they want to continue or if they have no time left. Our organization chart will then be updated accordingly. The new or further confirmed names are:
