Kleine Änderungen / Small Changes

Hi Supporters,

wenn wir uns morgen (Freitag, 6.9.2019 19:30) treffen, wird dies draußen im Autoscooter (aka „Musterhaus der Statistik“) geschehen, wo schon unser erstes Meeting war (also um das an die Werkstatt angrenzende Haus der Gesundheit herum und auf den großen Parkplatz). Weil aber im Gegensatz zum letzten Mal nicht mehr Hitzewelle ist, bringt wärmende Sachen mit (BYOB, Bring your own Blanket), und was ihr an Snacks und Drinks braucht.

Ich war heute noch mal an unserem Raum, und das Motto der UdK-Summerschool „Making Futures“ wirft auch bei uns seine Schatten voraus … An vielen Stellen und in vielen Räumen wird gearbeitet, auch in unserem zukünfigen Raum. Zwei Studentinnen arbeiten an einem Konzept insbesondere für das kaputte Schaufenster (das derzeit mit Holz und Zaun gesperrt ist. Ihre Anfangsidee ist, dort mit einer Popup-Fassade (wie in einem Aufklappbuch) Innen und Außen zu verbinden. Sie wollen auch gerne morgen ihre Idee an einem Modell vorstellen und weitere Ideen von euch dazu einsammeln. Falls wir das Ergebnis für diesen Raum weiter nutzen wollen, freuen sie sich. Falls nicht, wäre es zumindest einfacher zu entfernen/umzubauen als der bisherige Stand im Raum.

Hi Supporters,

when we meet tomorrow (Friday, 6.9.2019 19:30), it will happen outside in the bumper car area (aka „Musterhaus der Statistik“), where also our first meeting happened (pass by the Haus Der Gesundheit next to the Werkstatt/Workshop, it is then on the large parking lot). Because, unlike the last time, there is not much summer heat left, bring warming things (BYOB, bring your own blanket), and what you need as snacks and drinks.

Today I visited our room again, and the motto of the UdK Summer School „Making Futures“ casts its shadow on us too … Many places and many rooms are being worked on, even in our future space. Two students work on a concept especially for the broken shop window (which is currently locked with wood and fence.) Their initial idea is to connect the inside and outside with a pop-up façade (like in a fold-up book) . They will be there tomorrow too to present a model of their ideas, and they also want to have your ideas. If we continue to use what they are building for this room, they would be happy. If not, it would be at least easier to remove the new constructions that the old state of the room.
