Hi Supporter!

Der Projektvorschlag ist rumgeschickt und der Spendenaufruf auch. Ein paar Fotos gabs auch, und einen Artikel im Freitag, den die Initiative Haus der Statistik so kommentiert: „Danke der Freitag für diesen schönen Artikel — Strom, Wasser und Fenster haben die Pioniernutzer:innen schon, nur eine Heizung können wir aktuell noch nicht bieten… aber was noch nicht ist, kann ja noch werden!“ – Ich finde das lässt hoffen auf Wärme im Winter 🙂

Hier der beschreibende Text zum Spendenaufruf:

Es gibt das Sprichwort: „Die besten Dinge im Leben sind umsonst“, und das könnte wahr sein. Aber während wir eine kostenlose (spendenbasierte) Nutzung anstreben, ist die geplante Burner Embassy Berlin nicht ganz „priceless“. Wir streben (als einen Eckpfeiler) eine dauerhafte Unterstützung der Burner-Community für ihr zukünftiges Zuhause in der Mitte Berlins an. Die erwartete Mindestspende (aka verfestigtes Aufmerksamkeit aka Geld) ist im Laufe eines Jahres geringer als ein Kiez Burn Ticket, aber du kannst das ganze Jahr über aktiv mitmachen!
Wir wollen sicherstellen, dass ein großer Teil der Community dieses Projekt will und es sich zu eigen machen wird. Für mich persönlich wäre das ein Maßstab dafür, wie involviert die Gemeinschaft sein will. Falls es niemand wirklich will, ist das auch gut zu wissen.

The project proposal has been sent around and so has the call for donations. There were also a few photos, and an article in the magazine Friday, which the Initiative Haus der Statistik commeted like this: „Thank you Friday for this beautiful article – electricity, water and windows are already provided by the pioneer users: only we can’t offer heating yet… but what is not yet, can still become!“. – I think that gives some hope for warmth in Winter 🙂

Here’s the text of the donation call:

Well, there is a saying: „the best things on life are free“, and that might be true. But while we‘re aiming for free (donation-based) usage, the planned Burner Embassy Berlin is not completely priceless. We‘re aiming (as one cornerstone) for a permanent support of the Burner community for their designated home in the middle of Berlin. The expected minimum donation (aka solidified attention aka money) is over the year less than a Kiez Burn ticket, but you can participate the whole year!
We want to make sure that a big part of the community wants this project and will own it. So for me personally it would be a measurement how involved the community wants to be. If nobody wants it for real, that’s also good to know.
